I was “working as an R&D Food Technologist developing value-added products for the seafood industry for almost 3 years. Prior to that, I spent my summers in Bristol Bay, AK as a Quality Assurance Tech while I was working on earning my Bachelor of Science degree in Food Technology from the University of the Philippines.
Coming from a food manufacturing background, I’ve realized that I value having a more intimate relationship between food and the consumer… I enjoy learning from my mom and her interpretation of Filipino cuisine, trying out new recipes, preparing meals for my family, and baking!”
